Interesting Story

Supersize
If u have an empty 64-ounce cup and u pour the water fm a full 24-ounce cup into it, u can't expect it to fill the bigger cup. U accept that that's all the water the 24-ounce cup can hold. All the people in yr life are truly doing their best they can with what they have. People can only love u to the capacity that they r able to love themselves. They can only forgive n embrace u to the capacity that they are able to forgive n embrace themselves. They can only give u what they have the capacity to give.U may think u deserve more. U maybe right. But that means nothing if a person simply doesn't have the ability to give it to u.Hence, each time u expect someone in yr life with "24-ounce capacity" for love, forgiveness or communication to give u "64-ounces that u wanted, u r setting that person up for failure and yrself up for constant disappointment.Live. Love. Accept.
Bed of Nails
One day, a man walked past a house and saw a little old lady rocking in her chair, a little old man reading the paper as he rocked next to her and a dog lying on the porch between the two, moaning as if he were in pain. As he passed, the man wondered silently what the dog was moaning abt.The next day, he walked past the hse again. He saw the old couple rocking in their chairs n the dog lying between them, making the same pained sound. Puzzled the man promised himself that if the dog was still moaning the next day, he'd ask the old couple abt it.On the third day, to his distress, he saw the same scene; the little old lady rocking in her chair, a little old man reading the paper and a dog in his spot, moaning piteously. He couldn't stand it anymore."excuse me, ma'am," he called out to the old woman, " what's wrong with yr dog?""oh, him?" she said, "he's lying on a nail."Confused by her reply, the man asked, "if he's lying on a nail and it hurts. Why doesn't he just get up?"The little old lady smiled and said in a sweet grandmotherly tone, "well, honey, it hurts just enough for him to moan abt it, but not enough for him to move yet."
